1 Participation is reserved for owners of gelato shops, family members or employees who, at the time of registration, certify that they are authorized by the owner and can use the name of the shop.
2 Each shop with a production laboratory is entitled to a single registration; the competitor can choose to participate either in the Hazelnut or Mango gelato competition. Certificates and prizes will be awarded to the person(s) indicated on the registration form.
3 The organization has the right to ask the winners for documents that certify the truthfulness of the information declared on the registration form.
4 Each competitor must arrive on Monday 27th October 2025 at the time indicated in the program with at least 3 liters of Hazelnut or Mango gelato mix, depending on the competition they have registered for.
5 The aging of the mix will take place in the laboratory set up for the competition. After aging, the gelato sample will be delivered to the Competition Secretariat in a 500 cc thermal pack supplied by the organization.
6 A special commission will pre-select within the gelato samples presented, the best 6 (six) that will be admitted to the final vote.
7 The selected samples will be evaluated by a jury composed of 5 competition judges; this jury will express their voting in the presence of the competitors with an open vote by means of special numeric paddles. The jury will express its judgment referring to initials that distinguish the containers in question; envelopes marked with the aforementioned initials will contain the names of the competitors inside, these will be opened only after the voting has been completed.
8 In the late afternoon of the first day, the 6 finalists of the Hazelnut gelato competition and the 6 finalists for the Mango gelato competition will be announced.
The 12 best gelato makers will compete on the morning of Tuesday 28th October for the title of Winner of the Grand Prix Gelato Croatia by making the best Strawberry gelato.
Each finalist will receive a final certificate, while the winner will win the Grand Prix Cup and a fantastic Piaggio Vespa.
9 No ex-aequo will be accepted for any competition, therefore, if the case of a tie, a further vote will be held to determine the winner.
10 The organization declines all responsibility for damages of any nature suffered or caused by the competitors during the entire event.
11 The organization reserves the right to make all the changes to the regulation aimed at improving the event.
12 It is imperative to show up in a white work jacket and hat without company logos.
